The Assumption procession in Chicago in 1996 was recorded by Louis Scalise, a member of the Croatian parish of St. Jerome&#8230;</p>

When the Franciscan monastery in Chicago was bought and renovated, the Franciscans began to seriously think about their own printing press. Thus, at the end of 1946, the necessary machines were purchased from the Slovenian printing house &#8220;Edinost Publishing Company&#8221;. She fulfilled her irreplaceable role &#8211; as, after all, the printed materials that the Croatian Franciscans published in America &#8211; in the best possible way&#8230;</p>
